Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai massage is a therapeutic system that promotes health and wellbeing.

It was developed in Thailand over 2000 years ago from a combination of traditional Asian medical systems and yogic practises and is now used across the world as an effective and enjoyable treatment for relieving physical and mental stress and tension, for the easing of muscular pains and headaches and for the increasing of energy, vitality and feelings of general wellbeing.

During traditional Thai massage the client wears loose fitting clothing and the therapist applies deep tissue massage techniques, stretching and pressing the body in a series of carefully prescribed positions. Massage oils are not used.

Thai oil massage and Aromatherapy massage uses aromatic oils applied with traditional pressure techniques and relaxing movements and positions that are similar to Swedish style massage.

Traditional Thai foot massages (reflexology) and head and neck massages are options applied to relieve specific aches and pains and soothe both body and mind.
